Tenerife @ Canary Islands (Spain).

Fantastic place and people there. For sure you must visit it, but get ready to spend there at leat 2 weeks to really enjoy the trip. I specially liked:
* Mountain Teide: A vulcano still alive:
- You should climb before dawn, then you will see a fantastic view of the seven islands of the archipelago.
* The town Icod de los Vinos (see http://jm.sunico.org/2007/07/02/icod-de-los-vinos/)
* The town of Puerto de la Cruz, where I recommend the following:
- Lunch at restaurant REGULO (just ask around there), located near "Plaza del Carco".
- Visit "Lago Martianez", a swimming pool designed by C鳡r Manrique.
- Visit "Loro Parque", a fantastic Zoo.
- Diner at "El Monasterio", a nice restaurant in the neghbourhood.
* Visit Punta de Teno, nice views there.
* Visit Punta de Anaga, nice views there, radically different from the views at Teno.
* Visit Capital City of Tenerife, "Santa Cruz", and go shopping there.
* Visit "Los Gigantes", pretty cliffs there.
* Visit town of "Garachico", nice little town, and ask there for a good place to eat fresh fish. I recommend "La Perla".
